IMATS

IMATS or the International Makeup Artist Trade Show was held on June 20 and 21.
I attended on June 21.

This was my first time going. I had never been to anything like that before.
It was AMAZING! I had so much fun.

My husband and my son were also with me. Children can go. My son was such a good boy the whole time. They both had a lot of fun as well.

So the IMATS is a huge makeup show with LOTS of makeup brands all in one giant room selling all their products. Everything is discounted between 20 and 40%!

There is a makeup competition and classes you can attend as well while you are there.
If you want to attend the classes tickets cost a little more. If you want to just go into the area where the vendors are then they are cheaper.

I got my tickets to go into the classes as well.

Some of the makeup brands that were there were
Makeup Forever
Senna Cosmetics
Yaby
Temptu
Silly Farm Supplies
Mark V Tweezers
Mehron
Kryolan
L.A. Splash Cosmetics
MAC
Face Atelier
Bobbi Brown
Naked Cosmetics
Cinema Secrets
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics
Stila

This isn't even near half of what was there. There were so many different vendors. Lots of makeup brush vendors, and airbrush, and glitters, and tools, luggage/train cases, hair tools, makeup schools, and skin care. Oh yeah even a vendor for boob jobs, haha!

I met Maxi from Blush. He was so nice and funny! He said he needed to put his makeup on because he wasn't wearing much. Then he saw my son and said he couldn't let him watch him putting on makeup because it would scar him for life and he wouldn't grow up normal. :-)

I would suggest going if you are trying to become a makeup artist or you just love makeup. It's a lot of fun. You can also learn a lot if you attend the classes.

IMATS is coming up in Sydney, Australia, and Toronto,Canada. If you live near there you should try to go.

I'll be going again next year, both days!

Here are some pictures we took. :-)
