Ocean Love Potion and Sephora by OPI review

Vanessa from PinkObsession asked if I could do a nail swatch of Ocean Love Potion. So here it is. :-)

I really love this color. It's a pretty aqua/teal color.

I didn't really have an interest in these when they first came out. I read some reviews after a couple weeks and they didn't seem too great. I didn't think I would like them.

One day that I dropped into Sephora one color caught my eye. It was How Cute is That?. When I used it for the first time I instantly loved it. That led me to get another and another. Now I have four Sephora by OPI nail polishes. My latest being Ocean Love Potion and Dark Room.

Packaging ~ The packaging is nice and basic.

Brush ~ The brush is not the pro wide brush that's on the regular OPI nail lacquers, but it is a nice brush. I have no problems with it.

Consistency ~ The consistency is nice. Not thick or too thin at least on the ones I own. I get a nice even finish. Some of the reviews said they were streaky, some said too thick, some said too thin. There might be some that are but the ones I have are great.

Chipping ~ I always use a top coat and don't ever have a problem with chipping. I usually just get some wear and fading at the edge after about five or six days.

Price ~ The price for these are $9. That is kind of a lot for nail polish, especially when compared to China Glaze which I love, that you can get for like $3.50.

So over all I am really happy with these. I will continue to purchase these as long as I see colors that I like.

You can find these online at Sephora.com and in Sephora stores.

Thanks for following, reading, and commenting! :-)

Ahh I have Darkroom, and at first I thought it was going to be this really pretty shale grey color then when I painted on two coats it looked super black to me so I checked the website and they describe it as "evergreen" which I can kind of see now that I've been told what to look for...

I was kind of disappointed, I picked it up for the name obviously.

I love How Cute Is That. Its my fave from the Sephora by OPI line. I always find it a hit or miss with these. I have a few that are too streaky and some are just great.
Oh well, I'll still continue to buy them though!
But China Glaze is my favorite nail polish brand.
