Sigma Beauty Extravaganza Complete Kit!

Sigma Beauty has recently just launched the Extravaganza brush kit and this thing is huge! You get 29 brushes in this set! 29!!

This is definitely a splurge at $510, this comes to $17.58 per brush, which seems like a lot for Sigma brushes since we have all come to love them for the quality and price of the brushes, but these also have 18K gold plated ferrules. It makes me wonder if the ferrules weren't 18k gold plated what the price would be for this set, because who really needs 18k gold plated ferrules, with all this being said, I still want this set! It just looks so fabulous!

They all come packed in this great brush case.

If you don't have any brushes at all or at least good quality brushes, I say go for it and pick up this kit, or if you just feel like splurging on something awesome! You get every brush you would ever need to apply your makeup. :)

You can find the Extravaganza Complete Kit here

What do you all think of this kit? Is this something you might splurge on?

Ebates My New Favorite!

I've always heard of people using ebates, but I never really looked into it.

What is ebates exactly? From the website;
You get cash back at any of 1,200 stores any time you start your shopping trip at There are no points to redeem, no forms to mail in, and no fees. Stores pay Ebates a sales commission for sending shoppers their way, and Ebates uses the commission to pay you cash back. All we need is an email address so we can notify you when your cash back has been credited. To date, our members have already earned more than $100,000,000 and you can join them today!

Well about a month ago I signed up and I already made $11 back on only 2 orders, that's pretty darn good if you ask me! I could have got nothing back, so I love it! I actually would have more but I forgot to use it a few times when I placed some Sephora orders. The only problem I have with ebates is that I think I might forget from time to time, but I hope I will get into the habit of going there first when I shop!

The percentage you earn back varies from store to store and they pay you every 3 months. They have over 1200 stores including Sephora,, Nordstrom, Ulta, and so much more.

Another great thing is you can set up your paypal account and they will pay you through there, or you can get a check in the mail. I chose paypal because I have it and it's convenient.

If your a frequent online shopper like I am, I highly recommend you sign up! Oh yeah and it's free!

You can sign up here now .

I am not being paid in any way to say this, nor did anyone at ebates reach out to me. This is just something I signed up for on my own.

I hope you all sign up as well, you have nothing to lose! Happy Shopping!

If you use ebates let me know how you like it. :)

Holiday Beauty Gift Ideas ~ 2011

If you are struggling to pick out a gift for someone, I have compiled a great list of beauty gifts that anyone would be thrilled to receive.

If you know someone who loves makeup or maybe you have a daughter just getting started out in makeup, you want to make sure they have the right tools to apply their makeup. Trust me, the right tools make all the difference! Some of my favorites are from Sigma.

This is my favorite set from Sigma, it's the Premium Professional kit and the ultimate set anyone would need to get their makeup done to look flawless!

This is the Synthetic Essential kit, which I love! These brushes are so soft, perfect for liquid and creams.
You can find these sets and many more here .

If you have friends and/or sisters to shop for, this Lorac eyeshadow palette trio is great because you get all 3 in a set, but they are packaged individually so you can give each one to someone. Plus it's a great deal, 3 shadow palettes for $34! You can find these at . I bought these for myself and I love them! :D

Fragrance is always a great gift if you know what someone wants, otherwise you might be gifting a fragrance someone doesn't like because we all have different tastes. Sephora has these great sets where samples are given in a gift set along with a certificate to redeem for a full size of your choice! You can find this for $50 at

For the nail polish lover this set from Sephora by OPI is great! You get 18 different mini shades to play with! $48

Do you have all your shopping done yet? I am almost done. We did most of our shopping online so it was nice not having to be in large crowds and wait in long lines!

I hope this list helps some of you! Merry Christmas! :)

China Glaze Let's Groove Nail Of The Day

Please excuse the messy cuticles and application, as you know I just had a baby so I don't have time to be neat right now! :D

Here's a quick nail of the day for you.

This is China Glaze Let's Groove, which is part of the Retro Diva Collection.

This is a beautiful shimmery purple, perfect for Fall and Winter.

Application was a bit difficult as this color is a bit thick, but I got even coverage in two coats.

Overall I do love this color and would definitely recommend it if you like purple nail polish.

What do you think of Let's Groove? I'm loving purple nail polish right now, what are some of your favorites at the moment??

Baby Is Here! ~ Update!!

It has been quite awhile since I blogged. I feel like I've been saying this in all of my last blog posts as they have been so sporadic, but as you might know I was pregnant and towards the end I was extremely exhausted all the time so blogging was not really something I was thinking about.

Well two weeks ago, as of today, I gave birth to my second baby boy!

Labor was intense! More intense than my first. I was in labor for about 12 hours, which was long, but in the end I had my beautiful baby.

Nicholas was born on 11-5-11. He was 7 lbs 14 oz and 19 & 1/2 inches long.

He is perfectly healthy which is all we could have asked for.

One of the best things was my husband got to be here for his birth. He was not able to be here for the birth of our first son because he was deployed to Iraq, so him being here this time around was wonderful!

In daddy's arms, 2 days ago

I am breastfeeding so he is attached to me almost all the time, so I will make time for blogging when I can. I would like to blog as often and as regularly as I can but of course my baby comes first before everything else, but we are getting more settled into things, so we'll see how it works out. So please be patient and please don't leave my blog, I'm still here, just busier. :)

We couldn't be happier with our new addition to our family!

Stila In The Light Palette Review & Swatches

My JCPenny recently opened up a Sephora inside of it, even though we have a large Sephora already I was still excited to go check it out. I have heard that the Sephora stores inside JCPenny were usually pretty small but I was surprised at how large it is and how much they carry.

I was really pleased to see Stila because they pulled Stila out of the full Sephora, apparently it wasn't selling well, so I'm hoping it stays in JCPenny.

So of course I had to pick something up. This new palette instantly caught my eye. I swatched these in store and they felt amazing. Great color payoff and they went on butter smooth!

Colors from L to R top row ~ Bare, Kitten, Bliss, Sunset, & Sandstone.
Bottom Row ~ Champagne, Gilded Gold, Luster, Night Sky, & Ebony.

I swatched these with no primer and this is how great the color payoff is.

This is a great set of everyday colors but you can also create a really pretty smokey eye as well. I also love that you get a great set of matte shades as well, for your highlight and crease.

I have been using this everyday since I bought it. It definitely rivals the Urban Decay naked palette in my opinion. I honestly don't use my naked palette very often anymore, I feel like the matte shades in the, In The Light palette gives me an overall better eye look. I don't like when palettes don't include a good set of matte shades, because I don't need my highlight, crease, and lid color to all be shimmery, that's just too much. Stila's In The Light Palette gives me the matte shades that I want.

You also get a great Smudge Stick waterproof liner in Damsel. I have a couple of these already and I love them! They are super pigmented and glide on so smoothly. They are long lasting, which is always a plus!

Here is a swatch of Damsel.

This is going to be a great palette for the Holiday season coming up. You can create some great neutral eyes to pair with bold red lips! Ahh I love it!

Overall this is an amazing palette! Do not pass this one up! I highly recommend it. This will also make a great Christmas present or stocking stuffer!

You can find this on for $39

What do you think of Stila's In The Light Palette??

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Quickly wanted to mention that it's been forever since I blogged, but I'll be posting an update on all that and a baby update as well coming up soon!

Pop Beauty Pinkest Nail Of The Day!

How fun is this color!?!

I went into Ulta the other day to pick up a few things, and this color in Pinkest by Pop Beauty caught my eye.

Now I know we're in Fall and I myself have been having fun wearing darker colors, but I just couldn't pass this up. It was the only one they had left! :)

This is my first nail polish from Pop Beauty, but I am very pleased with it.

Funny side note ~ I always have nail polish on my nails, so I can never swatch nail colors on myself, therefore I use my hubby! Lol, he always lets me swatch colors on him, so when I swatched this I loved how opaque it was in just one swipe.

I have only been wearing this for a couple days, but the application was very smooth. I got even coverage in two coats.

This is a neon color so it does dry matte and you will need a top coat if you want a shiny finish.

I haven't worn a neon color in a long time so I am loving this color right now.

What do you think of Pop Beauty's Pinkest nail polish? Have you tried any of their other nail shades, if so let me know what some of your faves are, I might like to pick up some more.

Disclaimer ~ I purchased this item myself, this is my personal and honest opinion.

Tarte LE Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner Collection Review

Sephora recently added some new sets online, and when I saw this set I ordered it in a heartbeat! :)

I had already tried one of these pencils that I got in a kit from QVC. I believe this color is plum, which I love.

When I first tried this one, I was in love. It was a gorgeous color, long lasting, waterproof, and I could use it as a liner or a shadow.

These are so creamy, and glide on so easily. You have a bit of time to blend or smudge, but once it sets, it's on for good.

Natural light
The shades included from L to R are Golden Beige, Moss, Violet, Espresso, Silver Black, and Smoke.

Swatches are in the same order and below is the plum that I already had.

The value in the set is amazing! Just one of these is $25 but you get a set of six Full Size waterproof liners for $39! What a steal!

I love the Violet and Espresso for lining, and I've been using the others more as an eyeshadow base. Golden Beige and Smoke have a bit of a glitter to them, which I don't mind but keep that in mind of you don't like a lot of sparkle.

This set also comes with a sharpener, which they don't show or tell you online, but it's in there.

If you haven't picked up this set I highly recommend it.

I just noticed it's out of stock online, but check your Sephora store, and be checking back online for its return because this is a great set to have for yourself or give as a gift, Christmas is not too faraway either and this would be a great stocking stuffer!

Have your tried Tarte's Waterproof Liners? What do you think of them?

Disclaimer ~ I purchased these items myself, this is my true and personal opinion.
