China Glaze Crackle Glaze Nail Of The Day And Review

Obsessed is what I am with these New Shattered and Crackle styled nails! I got my first taste of this kind of nail look with the OPI Black Shatter nail polish that was released with the Katy Perry Collection. I have been obsessed ever since!

I then heard China Glaze was coming out with their own version called Crackle Glaze and in COLORS, I was beyond thrilled! Should I be this excited over nail lacquer, probably not but I can't help myself! I have an addiction to nail polish, so this just fed that addiction because this is all new to me. I have never had any nail polish like this before and I love all the different color combinations you can make with these. They are just so much fun.

I was lucky enough to pre-order all six colors.
From L to R
Broken Hearted, Lightning Bolt, Black Mesh, Crushed Candy, Cracked Concrete, Fault Line.

In this nail of the day I am wearing China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise as a base and Fault Line Crackle on top. I love how this combo turned out!

The consistency of these is pretty thick and you have to work fast because the crackle effect starts to happen quickly. I don't mind having to work quickly because I love the end result. You also have to make sure your base color is completely dry before you apply the Crackle glaze on top otherwise you wont get a good crackle effect.

Overall I love these and would definitely recommend them. The color combinations are endless! I got mine online at but they are out of stock, so check your local Sally's.

Sigma Synthetic Face Kit Review

A month ago I ordered the Synthetic Face Kit from Sigma, I was looking for a new foundation brush so I thought I would try this set. I had been using the Sephora Natural Foundation brush from their I.T. collection but it started to shed quite a bit so I needed something new.

I have been using this kit for about a month already and I am impressed. Sigma has never disappointed me.

The brushes included in this kit are the F80, F82, and F84.

The F80 is a Flat Top Kabuki brush. This is a big brush! The flat top brush head is larger than the size of a quarter. It's a really great brush for buffing foundation into the skin and because it's a large brush you get your foundation done in no time. It is super soft but really dense at the same time. It's exactly what I was looking for.

The F82 is a Round Top Kabuki. This is probably the most dense of all three brushes yet it's still super soft. This is great for foundation but I have also been using this for concealer as well. It might be a bit too big for under eye concealing but I really like it to conceal larger areas like on the cheeks, around the nose, and chin. It provides great coverage because of the density of the brush.

The F84 is an Angled Kabuki brush, which I don't think I've seen before. Again this is a great brush for foundation but it's amazing with cream blushes and highlighters. You can easily stipple and blend cream blush into the cheeks.

Online they say these feature Sigmax filament, which is suppose to keep products from absorbing into the fibers. I don't really know if that's actually working but I do know that these brushes are fabulous!

If your wondering if they shed or why I haven't mentioned that I'm about to tell you that none of these have shed at all! Which I almost find strange because I have never had a brush that hasn't shed even just a little or when they get washed. From brushes this large I would expect it, but I haven't experienced any shedding with these and I don't mind it one bit! :)

Overall I am so happy with my brushes and glad I ordered them, they are just what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend them if your in the market for some new face brushes.

Sigma carries the set which I ordered here for $42.

You can also purchase them individually.
F80 ~ $16
F82 ~ $16
F84 ~ $16
Also don't forget you get a Free Gift with any purchase over $30!

Have you tried the Synthetic Face Kit? Will you be picking any of these up? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I'm already planning my next Sigma order! I'm dying to get these !!! Maybe for my birthday next month on the 25! :D

Sephora Cream Lip Stain, Strawberry Kissed ~ Valentine's Day FOTD

On one of my last trips to Sephora I browsed the Sephora line, which I don't usually do. I found these new lip stains and swatched a few and I instantly loved the color intensity. These are super pigmented.

I only bought one to try it out. The color I chose was #03, Strawberry Kissed, it's a bright pinky/red.

I wore it the following day and I have to say I really love it. It's such a beautiful red. In the photos above it looks more like a coral/red but it's really a pinkish/red.

Sephora says these are long lasting, so I decided to put it to the test. I applied the Cream Lip Stain in the morning at around 9am and it lasted ALL day! I was actually surprised by this. I ate, drank, and kissed my son and my hubby and it lasted till I took it off at around 9pm. It did fade a bit but not to the point where I would have to re-apply. I was really impressed with it's long wear capability.

Even though its a stain it isn't too drying on the lips. If that's a problem for you, you can always dab on a bit of lip balm or lip gloss on top. Also this isn't one of those like clear lip stains, it is a cream so it applies more like a lipstick and dries down to a stained matte finish.

Above~ First swatch just applied, second swatch after it dries down.

The only problem I had with these is the wand pulls out a lot of product, there is a stopper but it's too wide, so you have to wipe off most of the product at the top of the tube, but that's not too big of a deal.

This would be such a pretty color to wear for Valentine's Day! Here is my FOTD, that I will be wearing again for tomorrow even though I won't be going anywhere :( Hubby works 3-11 so that doesn't give us time for anything. First photo is in the morning, that I took with my phone, second photo is in the evening around 8pm.

Eyes ~ Senna Cosmetics Hot Chocolate Palette (I'm  obsessed with this right now. I might do a favorites post soon because I have a lot of favorite things at the moment!)  :)
Lips ~Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Strawberry Kissed
Cheeks ~ Benefit Hoola to contour and Benefit Coralista blush

Please excuse my shiny face, this was all day later after I first applied my makeup!

You can find these at Sephora and for $12. It's available in 7 colors.

I might get a few more of these! :)

OPI Black Shatter Review and NOTD!

If you follow me on Twitter you might have seen my rant about not being able to find this anywhere! My Ulta was sold out and I called every beauty supply store in my area! I was on a mission to find this and I was NOT going to give up! Ha ha!

There were a couple stores that were closed when I called, so I called them up the next morning and one of them had only one bottle left! I asked them to please hold it for me and they kindly did. :)

I was so happy  to get one because I wanted to see what the big deal was. I also wanted to see how it worked.

I have to say I am LOVING this Black Shatter nail polish. It is so unique, funky, artsy, and pretty all at the same time.

My husband says it looks like I went and had my nails done and someone actually took their time making all these designs on my nails.

I read that some people were having trouble with it shattering, and it didn't do a good job at separating but I had no troubles at all. You have to let your color/base coat completely dry then apply the Black Shatter.

Also a tip for you, depending on your nail size, make sure you have a good amount of polish on your brush and try to cover your nail with the Black Shatter in one swipe.

This was my Super Bowl nail of the day. As you can see I was going for the Steelers but sadly they didn't win. I am wearing two coats of MAC Phosphor nail polish, one coat of Black Shatter, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.

The Black Shatter nail polish does dry to a matte finish so if you want shine, you need a top coat.

Overall I love OPI Black Shatter. If you like funky nails definitely pick it up. I recommend it!

I'm going to try and get my hands on a few more bottles so I can giveaway, but hopefully I'll be able to find some!

Check your local Ulta and Beauty Supply Stores for OPI Black Shatter.

Did you get Black Shatter? What do you think of it? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Stila Make Me Blush Set

Just in time for Valentines Day, Stila Cosmetics has released the Make Me Blush set.

The blush is embossed with a Classic Conversation Heart design. The Hearts are multi-colors of coral, pink, and soft pink. It is over sprayed with a gold sparkle. Once you swipe off the gold over spray you are still left with a shimmery blush.

I noticed this on Sephora last week and had to have it so I placed my order right away. On Sephora it comes in a set with two lip glazes as well. All I wanted was the blush but I ordered it anyways. If I would have took my time to check the Stila web site I would have found it on it's own there.

I do love this blush though! It's the cutest thing! I love the different colored hearts, and the play on conversation hearts. It's just so adorable.

The individual heart colors above and all of them swirled together below.

The color is really beautiful. This is meant to be swirled together but you can try and grab the individual colors on your brush but I prefer it swirled.  It's also very easy to blend on your skin. You get a really pretty peachy coral flush of color. This definitely leans more towards a peachy shade rather than pink.

Hugs Lip Glaze and Kisses Lip Glaze

The lip glazes are really pretty. They also smell really good and fruity. I really love Hugs lip glaze. It's a sparkly red, perfect for Love Day. :)

I definitely recommend this set. It's too cute to pass up. This would also make a cute Valentines Day Gift!

The Sephora set is $20 but you can get the blush itself on the Stila website for $14.

Lorac Multidimensional Beauty Collection

I recently picked up the Multidimensional Beauty Collection from Lorac. It is an Ulta Exclusive.

I swatched the Mulitplex 3D lipgloss on my hand in the store and LOVED it! I checked to see if they sold the lip gloss on its own and they do, but it's $22 so I figured I might as well pay a little more ($35) and get the whole kit which includes, three shadows, Mulitplex 3D gloss in Ultra Glam, and a cute wristlet/makeup bag.

Top to Bottom,  3D-Luxe, 3D-Mension, 3D-Licious, and Ultra Glam lip gloss.

Top row dry, bottom row wet. Left to Right, 3D-Luxe, 3D-Mension, 3D-Licious, and Ultra Glam lip gloss.

I love the shadows. Lorac eye shadows never disappoint. They are pigmented, long lasting, and easy to blend. Another great quality of Lorac shadows is you can use them wet, which REALLY intensifies the color!

You can create a subtle look with this set or use them wet to get a really dramatic eye.

The lipgloss color is pretty, which is why I bought the kit in the first place, but the smell is terrible! I can not wear this lipgloss! I don't know if they all smell like this or maybe I just got a bad one, but it's gross. It sucks because the color is so beautiful. I think I might go exchange it for a different one, but if I exchange it I'll have to make sure it doesn't smell the same.

The bag is super cute and shines different colors.

Overall I love the shadows and the bag but I'm disappointed in the lipgloss.

Your still getting a great deal though, three Lorac eye shadows retail for $57 and this kit is only $35 so it's worth it for the eyeshadows alone.

I would definitely recommend this kit just make sure the lipgloss smells good. :)

The Lorac Multidimensional Beauty Collection can be found at your local Ulta or here ULTA Beauty .

Do you have this kit or any 3D lipgloss from Lorac? Did yours smell bad too? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
