Sigma Synthetic Face Kit Review

A month ago I ordered the Synthetic Face Kit from Sigma, I was looking for a new foundation brush so I thought I would try this set. I had been using the Sephora Natural Foundation brush from their I.T. collection but it started to shed quite a bit so I needed something new.

I have been using this kit for about a month already and I am impressed. Sigma has never disappointed me.

The brushes included in this kit are the F80, F82, and F84.

The F80 is a Flat Top Kabuki brush. This is a big brush! The flat top brush head is larger than the size of a quarter. It's a really great brush for buffing foundation into the skin and because it's a large brush you get your foundation done in no time. It is super soft but really dense at the same time. It's exactly what I was looking for.

The F82 is a Round Top Kabuki. This is probably the most dense of all three brushes yet it's still super soft. This is great for foundation but I have also been using this for concealer as well. It might be a bit too big for under eye concealing but I really like it to conceal larger areas like on the cheeks, around the nose, and chin. It provides great coverage because of the density of the brush.

The F84 is an Angled Kabuki brush, which I don't think I've seen before. Again this is a great brush for foundation but it's amazing with cream blushes and highlighters. You can easily stipple and blend cream blush into the cheeks.

Online they say these feature Sigmax filament, which is suppose to keep products from absorbing into the fibers. I don't really know if that's actually working but I do know that these brushes are fabulous!

If your wondering if they shed or why I haven't mentioned that I'm about to tell you that none of these have shed at all! Which I almost find strange because I have never had a brush that hasn't shed even just a little or when they get washed. From brushes this large I would expect it, but I haven't experienced any shedding with these and I don't mind it one bit! :)

Overall I am so happy with my brushes and glad I ordered them, they are just what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend them if your in the market for some new face brushes.

Sigma carries the set which I ordered here http://tinyurl.com/4epggru for $42.
