I was really pleased to see Stila because they pulled Stila out of the full Sephora, apparently it wasn't selling well, so I'm hoping it stays in JCPenny.
So of course I had to pick something up. This new palette instantly caught my eye. I swatched these in store and they felt amazing. Great color payoff and they went on butter smooth!
Colors from L to R top row ~ Bare, Kitten, Bliss, Sunset, & Sandstone.
Bottom Row ~ Champagne, Gilded Gold, Luster, Night Sky, & Ebony.
I swatched these with no primer and this is how great the color payoff is.
This is a great set of everyday colors but you can also create a really pretty smokey eye as well. I also love that you get a great set of matte shades as well, for your highlight and crease.
I have been using this everyday since I bought it. It definitely rivals the Urban Decay naked palette in my opinion. I honestly don't use my naked palette very often anymore, I feel like the matte shades in the, In The Light palette gives me an overall better eye look. I don't like when palettes don't include a good set of matte shades, because I don't need my highlight, crease, and lid color to all be shimmery, that's just too much. Stila's In The Light Palette gives me the matte shades that I want.
You also get a great Smudge Stick waterproof liner in Damsel. I have a couple of these already and I love them! They are super pigmented and glide on so smoothly. They are long lasting, which is always a plus!
Here is a swatch of Damsel.
This is going to be a great palette for the Holiday season coming up. You can create some great neutral eyes to pair with bold red lips! Ahh I love it!
Overall this is an amazing palette! Do not pass this one up! I highly recommend it. This will also make a great Christmas present or stocking stuffer!
You can find this on Sephora.com for $39
What do you think of Stila's In The Light Palette??

This is so lovely~
I was going to buy my mum the Naked palette but this post has me thinking that maybe this would be a better choice for her since it has more matte shades. & also because the Naked palette is still so hard to find in stores here.
Would you say the colour payoff & texture is pretty much the same?
@Saimese, yes definitely the color payoff is just as good as UD! Your mom will love it!
