Wet N Wild Megalast in Tropicalia, Nail Of The Day!

If you love coral then run out to your nearest drugstore and pick up Tropicalia from the Wet N Wild Megalast line of nail polishes! It's a must have!

I previously purchased  I Need A Refresh-Mint from Wet n Wild, and loved it. I thought it was a really great color and formula, so I decided to pick up a few more polishes from the Megalast line, one of which included Tropicalia.

How gorgeous is this?! This is the perfect color for Spring and Summer! I'm in love with it!

This is a cream coral, with no shimmer.

The first coat applied slightly streaky, but the second coat evened it out. It wasn't difficult to work with though.

These have the rounded brush, which I always love, because it makes application easier.

Did I mention these are only $1.99!

I plan on picking up even more of these, although knowing me, I'll probably pick them ALL up! For $1.99 you can't go wrong! :D

You can find Wet n Wild Megalast nail colors at your nearest drugstore.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Lady Luck, Review & Swatches!!

If you love glitter polish run out and buy this one now! My husband bought this for me recently and it is the prettiest glitter nail polish ever!

The Gem Crush line has been out for awhile, but I hadn't tried them, so I was very happy to receive this from my hubby! They are suppose to give you full coverage in 2 coats.

This is a beautiful raspberry shade of glitter nail polish. It has an intense pink shimmer base and it also has round holo glitter flakes.

Because of the shimmery base color I got opaque coverage in two coats. Most glitters are sheer and need to be layered over another color, but this one can be worn on it's own.

The only downside of Lady Luck is that it has a rough finish. I like my nails to feel smooth and this color needed two coats of Seche Vite to feel ok for me.

The Gem Crush nail colors have the rounded brush like some of the other Sally Hansen nail colors, which I love. I feel like it just makes the application easier.

I have had this on for 4 days and it hasn't chipped. I did apply two coats of Seche Vite, but so far it's good.

Natural light

Here are some blurred shots, so you can see the sparkle!! You can really see the pink shimmer in these as well!

I can just stare at my nails all day! I promise you will find yourself doing the same if you pick it up! When it catches the light, it is mesmerizing! Lol!

I really love this color and have since picked up a couple more Gem Crush nail colors and will post about those soon! Definitely check this one out! If you love glitter, you need Lady Luck!

You can find this at your local drugstores for around $7 but they are usually buy one get one half off.

What do you think of Lady Luck?

Disclaimer ~ Given to me from my hubby as a gift! Thanks Muffin, I LOVE it! :)

Stila Diamond Lil Eye Shadow Rave Review & Swatch!

Awhile back I placed an order on and received a sample card with three Stila eye shadows on it, which included Diamond Lil. I instantly fell in love with this color! So much, that I used up all of what was pressed on the card, because I was using it everyday!

Flash ~ no primer
I ended up picking up the full size shadow from my Macy's and I'm so glad I did!

Sephora describes this shade as a shimmering metallic platinum, but it's a taupe eye shadow.

It's such a gorgeous color! It's so smooth and applies easily. It's also very easy to blend.

You can use this wet or dry, I prefer to use this shade dry because it's just so beautiful as it is.

This is a great lid color for a smokey eye, but it's also great for an everyday lid color.

I use this eyeshadow all the time now, it has become my go to color when I don't know what to wear. It works with everything!

Natural light ~ no primer

Here is a comparison swatch, From L to R Stila Diamond Lil, MAC Smoke & Diamonds, and Urban Decay Pistol from the Naked 2 palette.

If you like taupe eye shadows then you will love this! I highly recommend Diamond Lil!

You can find this on for $18.

What do you think of Diamond Lil? What are some of your favorite taupe eye shadows?

OCC Lip Tars, Queen, Pretty Boy, & Strumpet ~ Review & Swatches!

Last month OCC was holding a 20% off sale, so I figured it would be a great time to place an order for some new Lip Tars!

The colors I got from L to R are Queen, Pretty Boy, and Strumpet. I first tried OCC Lip Tars at IMATS 2 years ago and I have been in love with them ever since!

The colors are highly pigmented. They are opaque and apply easily with the right lip brush.

If you are new to Lip Tars, do not apply these straight to your lips from the tube, it will be way too much product. All you need is a pin drop for your lips! You definitely need a lip brush for application. My personal favorite is the Royal & Langnickel BC600 Silk Lip Brush . I have said this before but I must say it again, it's the best lip brush ever! Did I mention it's only $6.99! I always have to mention this brush when I talk about Lip Tars, because it's like the two were made for each other. :)

Back to the Lip Tars, they have a nice minty scent. They feel really great on your lips, but can get a bit dry as they wear on, so apply some lip balm if necessary.

Lip Tars are 100% Vegan, cruelty free, and are free of parabens.

Queen, Pretty Boy, and Strumpet.

These colors are absolutely gorgeous, as are all the other Lip Tars I have. I highly recommend them if you haven't already tried them.

If these colors are too bold for you, there are lots of other colors to choose from.

You can find these on for $13.50 each.

What are some of your favorite Lip Tar shades?

More Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Shadows ~ Review & Swatches

After buying my first Mabelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows in Bad To The Bronze, Tough as Taupe, and Too Cool, and completely falling in love with them, I had to get more.

CVS has these, buy one, get one half off right now! I had to go to two different stores, because the first one didn't have any in stock. These seem so hard to find right now, because everyone is loving them!

I bought 4 more of the Color Tattoos in Audacious Asphalt, Painted Purple, Edgy Emerald, and Bold Gold.

Flash ~ Top L to R, Audacious Asphalt, & Painted Purple
Bottom Row ~ Edgy Emerald & Bold Gold
Natural Light

I love all of the shades I got, especially Edgy Emerald! It's such a perfect shade of green for Spring!

Audacious Asphalt and Bold Gold are great neutral colors, that you can use everyday. They blend easily and are long lasting.

Now for Painted Purple, it was the color I was most looking forward to, but I ended up being the most disappointed in this shade. The color is beautiful, but the consistency is weird on this one , when you go to apply some, then go to blend it in, it kind of just wipes away, then you repeat and the same thing happens. I hope that makes sense, haha. I guess I'm just saying it applies unevenly. I did use a primer and tried applying it with several different brushes, but I think this one is best applied with your finger, because it will pack on the most even color that way. You can see in the swatches above how it's uneven and splotchy in some areas.

As for all the rest I absolutely love them! I definitely recommend them.

I really hope Maybelline comes out with more shades! Like maybe a dark shimmery green and matte & shimmery flesh tone colors! Oh and a navy color! I hope your listening Maybelline! Bring us more colors!! :)

If you haven't read my review on the other Color Tattoos I got you can find that here .

You can find the Color Tattoo eyeshadows at your local drugstore, Target, Walmart, or Ulta for around $6 or $7 each.

What do you think of the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows? Have you picked any up?

Butter London Slapper Nail of the Day! Spring Is Here!!

Well it might not feel like Spring where you are, but I'm from California and it has felt like Spring here since the beginning of January! December wasn't even that cold! We have had nothing but sunshine and upper 60 degree weather, so I have been feeling ready for Spring!

I went to Ulta a week ago, to browse around and see what was new. I noticed they had the Butter London, Spring colors on display. I was instantly drawn to this color called Slapper. It was the last one they had left, so of course I had to buy it!

Natural light

I tried a nail polish from this line sometime last year and I hated it. I don't remember the name, but it was shimmery, it looked pretty in the bottle, but when I applied it, it was so sheer! It took like a million coats just to get it to look as it did in the bottle, plus it didn't apply very well.

I was very hesitant to purchase Slapper, but I am so glad I did! It is so beautiful!

It's a gorgeous creme teal, green shade. It's definitely a great color for Spring, it's bright and fun!

It applied very easily and I achieved full, even coverage in two coats.

This color has changed my opinion on the line and I'll definitely try some more creme shades.

You can find Slapper and the entire Butter London Spring collection at and for $14 each.

What do you think of Slapper? Let me know some of your favorite Butter London shades that you think I should try. :)
