Julep Maven Giveaway, Nail of the Day in Sasha, and 1 cent Intro Sign up, !!

It feels like it's been a long time since I blogged! I have been so busy lately, but I have something fun to share with all of you today! I have been subscribed to Julep Maven for about 4 months already and I absolutely love it. I have subscribed to all the monthly subscription services that are currently out and I was never consistently happy with any of them, until Julep!

What is Julep Maven?
Julep Maven is a subscription service that you sign up for to receive a box sent to you every month that includes nail polish and beauty products.

You can cancel, or skip a month whenever you like.

You take a style quiz to find the style of shades that are suited for your liking.

You also get perks such as 20% off the Maven Boutique and Free shipping!

Cost ~ 19.99 a month.

The thing that I love about this service is you get to see what will be coming to you next. You will get an email showing you your shades, so if it's not something you like you can skip it, or they even give you the option to try a different box style.

Also if you love your box, but want a shade from one of the other box styles you can add up to two extra products to your box at a discount.

There really is no cons about this monthly service. I have been enjoying it so much.

The boxes always come packaged really well like this. The nail polishes are always wrapped in bubble wrap. This box above was a recent mystery box that I purchased, but this is how they always come packaged.

So on to my nail of the day. I got this color in my June Maven box called Sasha. It's a gorgeous bright apricot cream shade and I LOVE it! This color is great for Summer!
Application was great. I got smooth even coverage in two coats. I actually could have gotten away with one coat but I did two coats out of habit. It dried a little bit darker than the bottle, but it's still a beautiful color.

Now onto the good stuff! Julep is kindly hosting a Giveaway for LipGlossGossip readers!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review & Swatches

I picked up a couple of the new Revlon Kissable Balm Stains a few weeks ago and fell in love! I went on to buy two more, and my hubby bought me another one yesterday.

When everyone fell in love with the lip butters, I just couldn't get on that bandwagon! It took me months before I caved and tried one! I liked it but it's just ok. I wasn't wowed by it, but I am loving the Kissable Balm Stains!

L to R ~ Sweetheart, Lovesick, Cherish, and Honey

Here is my newest one, that my hubby just picked up for me in Rendezvous. I thought I would show this one with the product fully twisted out so you can see how much product your getting, which is not very much.

Natural light
L to R ~ Sweetheart, Lovesick, Cherish, and Honey
Sweetheart and Lovesick look very similar in my photos, but Sweetheart is more of a pinky/coral and Lovesick is more Fuchsia.

I absolutely love these! They are moisturizing and give great color pay off. You can wear them sheer but you can easily build up the color, which I love!

They have a minty scent, but they don't sting like a lip plumper, they just make your breath feel fresh.

Another thing I love is that these have a twist up applicator, so there is no need for sharpening.

My favorite is Sweetheart! It is such a gorgeous bright pink/coral that's really great for Spring and Summer. I will probably get more of these because I love them so much. I hope they bring out more colors as well!

The only downside to these is the amount of product you get. I guess I assumed that the whole tube was product but in fact it's less than half. I have seen these from $7.69 to $9.98. Most of the time you can find them BOGO half off. I wouldn't buy these at full price, but definitely look for them on sale. Rite Aid recently just had them 40% off.

Have you had a chance to try the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains yet? What do you think of them?

Barielle Falling Star Nail of The Day

I ordered Falling Star a couple months ago from HauteLook and I absolutely love it! I don't have anything like this in my collection. It is a gorgeous blue with a copper glitter running through it. My pictures don't do it justice, you have to see it in person!

You will definitely need a thick top coat for it to feel smooth because you can feel the glitter if you run your finger over your nail.

The application was great. I got even coverage in two coats.

Falling Star and many other colors are currently on sale on HauteLook for $4! They are $8 on the Barielle site.

What do you think of Falling Star? What are some of your favorite Barielle shades?
