Lime Crime Chinadoll Palette Review and Swatches

This is another item I picked up from IMATS this past Summer. I heard of the brand and had seen the booth at IMATS before but could never really get in and check out their products, because as you might know IMATS is crazy packed! This year I squeezed my way in to get a good look and swatching! I was instantly drawn to the Chinadoll palette!

The packaging is adorable! It comes in a cute sturdy purple tin, which can be reused after the product is gone. And who doesn't love unicorns! Lol

I love the pattern on the shadows! Obviously with use that will go away, but it's a cute touch. Out of all the palettes they had this one seemed like the more wearable palette. While the colors are bright and pigmented it's an easy palette to wear. I love using the gold all over the lid and the black on the outer corner or as a liner. The green is a gorgeous color on the outer corner as well! It looks beautiful on brown eyes! Love! The blue is probably my least favorite color, because when am I going to wear sky blue eye shadow, but it's fun. The red is crazy pigmented. A little goes a long way with the red but it's a nice warm red and that makes it more wearable when paired with other light neutral colors.

Swatched in natural light with no primer
As you can see the shadows are highly pigmented and they also blend easily. I use TFSI or UDPP and they are very long lasting with those primers.

I definitely recommend checking out the Lime Crime palettes. I have used mine so much already! It's become one of my favorites! I think I want the Aquataenia palette now!

You can find the Chinadoll palette on http://www.limecrimemakeup.com/categories/Fantasy-Palettes/  for 34.99.

These palettes are also Vegan and Cruelty free!

Do you have any Lime Crime products? What are some of your favorites? Do you plan on trying anything from this line?
