OCC Lip Tar Swatches! Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics

When I went to IMATS this year, I of course had to stop by the OCC booth and get some new Lip Tars. I ended up picking up 4 and then I recently ordered the Sephora exclusive shade in Nylon.

I've blogged about all my other Lip Tars that I own, so you all already know I love these!

Memento is a great nude. Beta a a gorgeous bright orange, I like using it for mixing. Radiate is the most beautiful coral/red. I've been using this one almost everyday since I got it! Stalker is a stunning bold red! I love it paired with a soft eye, winged liner, and lots of mascara! Last but not least is Nylon, how hot is this pink!! Bright neon pink! This is definitely not for the timid! If you love bright lips, you need this! It's gorgeous!

The great thing about Lip Tars is the ability to mix and create your own colors. You can intensify and tone down colors just by mixing them up. Love, love, love!

They are fully pigmented and have a great minty taste.

You definitely need a lip brush to apply these! Apply a little at a time because a little goes a long way! My favorite brush to use with these is the Royal and Langnickel BC600 Lip Brush.

OCC Lip Tars are also very long lasting. I have eaten greasy food while wearing these and my lips are still intact!

The only issue is they can get a bit drying after a few hours, but if you throw a little lip balm on top, problem solved!

Sephora will be carrying the full line of Lip Tars soon. Right now they only have Nylon online for purchase.

I absolutely love these and recommend them to everyone!!

You can find these at http://www.occmakeup.com/ for $15 each and the Sephora Exclusive shade in Nylon on http://www.sephora.com/ for $16.

What are some of your favoriteOCC Lip Tar shades?

Memento and Radiate look so pretty. Are they drying on the lips at all?

@Makeupcomapatient, They get a little drying after a few hours of wear, but the color doesn't fade. I usually just dab a little lip balm on at that point and then I'm good. :)
