Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Betsey swatch and FOTD! Plus recent purchases and Randomness!

If you keep up with me on Instagram then you've seen all of this stuff already, but I haven't had time to share it on here. I like how instagram is kind of like blogging. It's just a lot  easier for me to post things on there quickly than finding the time to sit in front of the computer and upload pictures, but I do what I can when I find the time. Both of my babies are napping, as is my husband so I am here updating the blog uninterrupted and I love it! Lol

These are just some things I picked up recently.
I had a $10 birthday coupon to use at Ulta so I recently went by and picked up one of the new Stila Color Balm lipsticks in Betsey as well as the Tarte Cosmetics Prime, Shine, and Define kit. I've used the Tarte Primer before and love it but haven't tried the BB Illuminating Moisturizer or Mascara.
The Color Balm Lipstick has a nice sleek silver packaging. I love how stila is pressed into the cap, it gives it a pretty look.
Swatched in natural light

This is my first Color Balm lipstick but definitely not my last. First of all the color payoff is amazing! The texture is so smooth and glides on your lips. It's very hydrating as well. These are different than a lot of the other "balm" lipsticks on the market as these have full color payoff which I love and is right up my alley.

I was very surprised as to how long this wore. I wore it for about 6 hours total and it stayed on through dinner as well. We went out to eat at BJ's and it lasted through pasta and two drinks! Impressed!
This was my look for the day on Easter. I did a light pastel green wash on the lid, with a teal shade on the outer corner and my Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Betsey. All eyeshadows and blush are from the Senna Cosmetics pastel envelope.

I definitely recommend you check out Stila Color Balm Lipsticks. There is a great variety of colors to choose from! You can find these at your local Ulta or Sephora for $22. As well as .

Lastly just wanted to share some other things I got recently.
Sedona Lace recently had a sale and I had never used their brushes before and you know I'm a total brush junkie so I had to place an order. I ordered the Vortex Brush Set, so I'll do a full review after I have had more time to play and experiment different uses for them.

Got this Butter London  trio from a Good Morning America deal for $25!
Colors shown are Jaffa, Cheeky Chops, and Dosh. You can find a swatch of Jaffa on my Instagram @LipGlossGossip

Lastly I'm in love with my chevron duvet from Target! It makes me happy and tired when I look at it! Happy because it's so bright & fun and tired because I just want to go lay down and relax! Lol

If your on Instagram let me know your Instagram name in the comments so I can follow you. You can look up LipGlossGossip to follow me. Another thing I recently joined is Keek, it's like instagram but you post short 35 second videos instead of pics so that's kinda fun! I'm LipGlossGossip there as well.

Anyways I hope your all having a great day!

That Stila color balm is so pigmented! Most balm/lipsticks are very sheer, so this is really a huge step up. Love the color!

@Lily, Thanks! Haven't had much time to play with the Tart BB Moisturizer. Will let you know how I like it once I try it out. :)
