MAC Indulge Haul and Swatches!

I went to my MAC store today to check out the new Indulge collection. I don't usually shop new MAC collections nowadays but I was really attracted to these Fall colors!

Swatches L to R
Palace Pedigreed, Divine Decadence, Three Ring Yellow, Gilt Gourmet fluidline,
and Just a Bite lipstick.

Excuse the messy application! I just threw it on when I got home to check it out!

I just picked all of these up today, so I can't really say how well they will wear, but I don't usually ever have a problem with MAC shadows fading or creasing as long as I'm using a primer. All of the shadows did swatch beautifully.

I plan on using Gilt Gourmet as an eye shadow base. I played around with it in the store and it looks gorgeous with all of these shadows applied on top. It would be great used on top of black eyeliner or on the lower lashline...I just see so many uses for this fluidline so that's great!

Just a Bite is a deeper shade of red but I was actually surprised how it swatched much brighter than I had anticipated. I really like it though. It's a great shade for Fall! Makes me feel like wearing a sweater, some boots, and sipping on hot chocolate, unfortunately it's still mid 90 degrees here in California, but soon!! :D

Check this collection out at your MAC counter/store near you or .

Saucebox Cosmetics review and swatches!

I first saw Saucebox cosmetics at IMATS a year or so ago and I'm not sure why I didn't pick anything up, but when I went to PHAMExpo I made sure to purchase something. I bought an eyeshadow in Psychic which is a really pretty light apricot orange color. I have a MAC eyeshadow that is very similar in color that I use a lot in my crease so I thought it'd be good to have it as a backup. They gave a free mascara with purchase but I have yet to try it.

Since I've had Psychic, I've been using it so much! Almost everyday! It's so much better than my MAC eyeshadow! The color is very highly pigmented. It blends beautifully. I have nothing bad to say about this's perfection! So because I fell in love with this eyeshadow I was lemming for MORE!! Lol! I follow saucebox on instagram and they had a $10 off coupon code recently so I took it upon myself to order a couple more shadows! Unfortunately many of the colors I wanted were out of stock but I did get two more eye shadows in First Date and Russian Rouge.

Natural light
First Date, Russian Rouge, and Psychic

The packaging comes in a paper/cardboard box type of packaging, which I'm fine with because If I want to depot them it will be super easy!

First Date, Russian Rouge, and Psychic

These are one finger swiped swatches! You barely have to touch it to pick up the color! It's insane how opaque these are! Isn't Russian rouge stunning!

Like I said these are so easy to work with since they blend so easily. You can get fallout since the shadows are so intense but just tap off any excess, especially with Russian Rouge.

Now I've been using all of these on my eyes as intended but First Date and Psychic make amazing blushes!! No it's not overkill either! Since they are lighter shades of pink and peach they are easy to work with and blend in the cheeks with ease. Double the bang for your money with these shades!

The single eyeshadows are $8.75 each and they have a few different palettes as well. I need to get more asap!! :D

Definitely check them out online at . You will fall in love with their eye shadows just like I did!

Using Psychic in my crease
Using First Date on my eyes and cheeks! Perfect pink!

By the way if you don't follow me on instagram I colored my hair red! If your interested in what I used and want a hair post just let me know! :) I am very active on IG and post tons of stuff on there so if your on IG too please follow me! I will follow you back! I love talking with everyone on there!!

OCC Stained Gloss Review and Swatches!

One of my big purchases at PHAMExpo was the OCC Stained gloss collection! I had been wanting these since they were released but I was waiting to get the from them show. I also picked up ChaCha lip tar to add to my collection. About a week ago I ordered Chlorophyll lip tar from so I'm including it in this post as well.

Voyeur, ChaCha lip tar, Androgyne, Jealous, Meta, New Wave, and Rhythm Box.

I was very excited to get these at the show. I swatched them all and was stunned by the gorgeous colors.

I have been using these for over a month already and I have a bit of mixed feelings on them. While the colors swatch beautifully, they don't transfer to the lips as you see swatched. They apply more sheer, but if you apply more it can become too thick. A big problem I've had is they always end up on my teeth! They just travel like there's no end! I've been wearing lipstick since I was like 14, and using lip tars for the last 3 years or so, so I would say I know what I'm doing lol, but no matter what I do they end up on my teeth and that's not cute.

I think it must be because they aren't sticky at all, they feel like butter on your lips.

With all that being said, the colors are gorgeous. I love playing with color and creating new colors so these are always fun.

My favorites of them are Jealous and Rhythm Box.

If you are not a fan of the lip tars and want something more sheer then you should check these out!

As for the lip tars in ChaCha and Chlorophyll, they are regular lip tars. ChaCha is a pretty light apricot color, which I've been using for mixing. Chlorophyll is pretty sheer for a regular lip tar. You have to build the color up to get it opaque, but it's fun for mixing.

These all have that great minty scent in them like all the lip tars do. It doesn't sting whatsoever though.

I bought these at the show price of $12 each but they retail for $18.

You can purchase these on and you can get Chlorophyll from .

Have you tried any of the stained gloss from OCC? What was your experience with them?

Sugarpill Pro Palette! Review and Swatches!

This was one of the items at the top of my list to pickup at PHAMExpo but when I went in the venue,  this booth was the one with the longest line! I didn't want to wait so I went to other booths and I'd pass by later on and there was still long lines so I just never got around to picking it up, which I was regretting once I was home! Well luckily for me Sugarpill posted on Instagram that they had some limited product leftover from PHAMExpo and they were going to sell it on their website at a certain time! I of course set my alarm for that! Lol! There were a lot of people who sadly weren't able to get it but I was one of the lucky few who did!
This is the palette closed. It comes in a cardboard palette but I think it's cute and practical. They also sent a sticker, temporary tattoo, flyer, and loose shadow sample in a baggie.

2am, Mochi, Love+, Poison Plum, Midori, and Tako.

So basically this is all of their eye shadows from their 4-color palettes in one handy palette! I honestly hadn't really worn bright eye shadow in such a long time! I was comfortable in this look of neutral eyes and bright lips. I forgot how fun it was to wear such bright bold colors on my eyes. I think a part of me was afraid to wear them as well. I'm not 20/21 years old anymore, at 28, I'm nearing 30, I can't wear colors like this anymore! least this was my thinking for some time, but then I was like wait a minute it's just makeup! I can wear what I want! Since I got this I've been so inspired to have more fun with my eye makeup!

The swatches were one finger swatches with no primer! These shadows are insanely pigmented. They are very easy to apply and blend. With UDPP they wear all day.

Here is a look I posted on Instagram wearing Acidberry and 2am. I also used a bit of a Coastal Scents Hot Pot in Sail Away on the corner. Lips are January Rising lip tar. Cheeks are Senna Cosmetics Brilliant Bronze in Sunset to Contour and Dawn to highlight, with Lise Watier Blush in Rose Eclat.
Lastly this lip color I'm wearing is none other than Dollipop from the Sugarpill palette. Yes I used eye shadow on my lips! I picked up some color with the C440, small pointed liner brush from Royal and Langnickel and applied it to my lips, topped it off with a tiny bit of clear lip balm and tada bold bright lips!

If your looking for some great quality bright eyeshadows then I definitely recommend these! You won't be disappointed. They are so much fun to play with. You can do so many different looks with this palette.

On the downside you can't go purchase this just yet. It will be available online in November. If you can't wait till then, you can purchase the single shadows or the 4-color palettes.

The pro palette at the show price was I believe $85 but I'm thinking when it goes on sale in November it might be a bit more than that. You can follow Sugarpill on IG as I'm sure they will post more info and exact dates as to the release of the Pro Palette.

Have you used Sugarpill eyeshadows or were you able to snag the pro palette at PHAMExpo? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. :)
