Saucebox Cosmetics Batalash Palette review and swatches

I hadn't purchased any makeup in such a long time but it didn't really matter since I honestly hadn't worn much makeup since having my baby.

I was recently feeling kinda blah...about not having the time to do my hair and makeup so I decided to try and change that.
Of course any way to get out of a makeup rut is to buy new makeup! Lol!

So I splurged on this new palette from Saucebox Cosmetics.

I hate to say splurge because I feel like if I'm using that word I should have some super luxe makeup from Chanel or something but all I have is this eyeshadow palette from a not very well known indie makeup company.

This palette is a whopping $60 plus tax, and shipping brought it out to $71.50!!

If I had no experience with their products I'd be completely turned off by that price but because I have several of their other palettes and single shadows I felt pretty confidant in getting a good palette.

The palette was made in coordination with batalash, which honestly I know nothing about them other than Samantha. I've seen a couple of her videos but that's about it. I don't really watch YouTube beauty videos.

The palette consists of eight eye shadows. You get a mix of mattes and shimmery shades.

All of them are buttery smooth and opaque.

A few of them kick up a bit of color and makeup dust but they all apply evenly and creamy.

I've used this for a week already and absolutely love this palette. I wish there was a champagne/gold for the lid in this palette instead of the green, so I like to use these shadows in conjunction with other shadows in my collection.

Depending on your skin tone this palette can be used for other things as well such as highlighting with the matte cream/white shade and contouring with the second matte brown shade, or even for your brows.

I'm really glad I got this palette. I was put off initially by the price and I still don't like the price but at the same time you're getting a ton of product and the quality is outstanding.

If they ever have a sale or you can grab this from a makeup show at a discount then don't hesitate because it is a really great palette as are most of the other saucebox palettes. Of course you can always purchase it at full price like I did.

If you've been thinking about getting this grab it as soon as you can because it is limited edition!
